Ktla,wsbk,wwor,kwgn,wpix ever on directv? - DBSTalk Forum Once upon a time KTLA,WPIX,WOR,WSBK,KWGN, and WGN were also availiable to those of us in the 80's and 90's via C Band satellite To this day DishNet has been the only one to carry these as a superstation package just like we used to get on Cband Thats how alot of people on the outside know of these channels

Superstations going away Sept19th- get grandfathered now KTLA, WPIX, WSBK and KWGN vanished from national cable distribution outside of a few lingering regional cable systems that are now subject to blackout For example until more local affiliates launched cable systems in the northeast continued to used WSBK and WPIX as their initial source of UPN and WB programming

Got screwed out of my Superstations - TWICE - and now. . . Later on KTLA became a Super Station and later scrambled and I bought a VC2 to subscribe to the Super Station package About 1999 we were losing more and more channels and there was Dish with the Super Stations and East west locals
