What was the origin of Star Treks Borg? Was there any explanation of the origin of the Borg from Star Trek? I've seen most of the TV shows but not read any books - is it explained there?
star trek - What are the known Borg failed assimilations? - Science . . . Additionally, if the Borg treated the Federation and related Alpha Beta powers like they did species 8472 and sent hundreds of cubes instead of just 1 each time, this answer likely wouldn't exist It's less that the Federation was successful and more that the Borg didn't respect the Federation seriously enough
Do the Borg not wonder why everybody hates them? The Borg tend to justify their actions by claiming that they are "improving" species, bringing them closer to perfection They are bringing order to chaos Basically they reckon they're the good gu
What do we know about the ultimate fate of the Borg? The overwhelming impression that one gets while watching Star Trek: Voyager is that the Borg will win in the Delta Quadrant With only a handful of exceptions, that are vastly superior to everythin

The Borg appear plenty more times and assimilate characters, especially in the movie
star trek - Were the Borg destroyed at the end of Voyager? - Science . . . the Borg collapsing as the queen dies due to the virus that the future Admiral Janeway infected them with However, were the Borg destroyed or did the virus just cripple the base and cause mass casualties? I've been unsure of the Borg
