Brave Browser, is it as unsecure as the FireFox users say? Mostly Brave got accused to being a non-privacy browser with trackers and other unsecure stuff I just switched to Brave from Vivaldi so I was worried and wanted to investigate the claims, because what are my privacy steps worth if I use a browser that tracks me? I will only look at Brave not Firefox or other browsers
Opera GX vs Brave : r browsers - Reddit Brave blocks practically every advertisement, unlike most of ad-blocks, which only block a few I like brave for this feature, and also, I like, how it shows, how much time did you save by using Brave
Brave vs Edge vs Firefox - Browser Benchmarks + RAM CPU Usage . . . Conclusion Concerning Brave, Brave looks to have substantially lower benchmark scores than Edge I'm interested as to why Brave is touted as being quicker and more efficient than Chrome, while it is not ( Brave utilize a much greater RAM and CPU than Edge and Firefox too) Additionally, Brave eats substantially more battery than Firefox as well!
Firefox vs Brave : r browsers - Reddit Brave is really private out of the box, plus being a Chromium browser, it has all the performance benefits you'd expect from a Chromium browser Firefox has the advantages and disadvantages of engine independence
ublock origin or brave ad blocker : r brave_browser - Reddit Brave adblocker is built natively into the browser, meaning it works at a deeper level than regular extensions It will block stuff that the extensions API cannot monitor (because of google's restrictions, even before the currently deploying Manifest v3 which worsens this situation)
Which is better? Mozilla Firefox vs Brave : r browsers - Reddit I strongly dislike most of Brave's ethos but as a browser, it seems to be going in a constructive direction, unlike Firefox, which is having parts stripped out of it, bit by bit, as the Mozilla CEO guzzles more money and tries to minimise the number of people she has to pay That's my rationalisation for using Brave over Firefox
Brave vs Edge? : r browsers - Reddit Brave For the out of the "box" experience, Brave wins No extra setup or extensions needed for adblocking or privacy really It just works The browser does a damn good job of blocking most ads, and the brave ads are nonintrusive but can get annoying since they tap into your OS notifications (you can turn off the notification while still
Solution to YouTube Ads : r brave_browser - Reddit Brave is on a mission to fix the web by giving users a safer, faster and more private browsing experience, while supporting content creators through a new attention-based rewards ecosystem
Brave or Opera? : r browsers - Reddit Brave is better for privacy, but some of their business practices have been questioned in the past Opera has most customization and abilities, as long as you don't want a home page button Opera, also has had some questionable business practices Based on testing (I'm a dev and have to test our SaaS apps with all major browsers), Brave tends to load pages a bit faster and is a bit lighter
