Pokémon - 宝可梦大百科 Pokémon 现行正式简体中文名为 精灵宝可梦，简称为 宝可梦。 宝可梦 是 Pokémon 的音译变化， 精灵 来自 Monster。 官方本来有使用台湾官译 神奇宝贝 作为大陆官译的意图，但因为 神奇宝贝 等译名已经被无关厂商注册，所以2010年底与 迪美文化 合作创造出新的中文名。 日方受到哆啦a梦的启发，明确要求新的中文名要与 Pokémon 有相似的读音，在否定了 宝k梦 、 宝酷梦 等译名后最终确定简体中文名为 宝可梦，因为“宝”、“可”、“梦”均是好意的词语，而且读音比较近似 Pokémon，但是 宝可梦 太简短，所以补充了“精灵”两字，最终变成变成了现在的 精灵宝可梦 [1]。
