CAMP IN – Camp Quality USA Our Camp In program is a way to reach even more than the thousand kids that typically attend our summer overnight camps, and we hope to share the Camp Quality experience with both new kids that may be too ill or too young to come to camp, along with our precious Camp Quality alumni
History – Camp Quality USA It was founded in 1983 in Sydney, Australia, by Vera Entwistle, who was also responsible for introducing Camp Quality to several additional countries, including the United States The first U S camp was held the summer of 1986 in Northwest Missouri for 43 campers
Campers – Camp Quality USA In 2019 we served 713 Cancer Warriors and 259 of their siblings during our signature week-long residential camps We strive to provide the safest, most enjoyable environment for our campers away from the everyday stresses of their diagnoses We provide 24-hour, on site medical care to make sure campers are taken care of while still being afforded the opportunity to just be kids
