capital dog training club (cdtc), a member club of the american kennel club, is a not-for-profit organization founded in 1938 to promote the sport of obedience training through classes offered to its members and the general public. we offer obedience classes from puppy kindergarten through competition obedience. we also offer classes in agility, rally, conformation, freestyle and flyball. cdtc offers a variety of other activities for dogs and people, including matches, trials, cgc and tdi test and seminars on dog-related topics.capital has a fully matted indoor, air-conditioned facility in silver spring, md.
