All about Carquest oil filters | BobIsTheOilGuy The Carquest Premium seem to be one of the best filter choices these days, so I did a pretty in depth look at Carquest's various offerings and though I'd share Efficiency has been a common question brought up here, and I did my best to organize the contradictory information that is available
standard, gold, platium brake pads??? Marketing gimmick? I used the CarQuest Platinum pads rotors on a Nissan Rogue from Advance Auto They lasted as long as OEM, were quiet, and performed well To me, it made since to invest a little extra into components that are replaced so infrequently Plus, for a novice like myself, it's a lot of work to replace all of the rotors pads and I wanted to minimize the chance of having problems post install

Carquest brake rotor quality | BobIsTheOilGuy The last time I bought rotors from Carquest, they were relabeled Raybestos They didn't warp, unlike the OEM MOPAR rotors on mom's 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee Have we really gotten this far, and some here are still writing about mythical rotor warping? Have you heard of pad imprinting? Poor brake break-in? The Article? Any of this sound familiar?
what oil filter is currently the best ? | BobIsTheOilGuy Also the CarQuest Premium filters at CarQuest dealers have them too I don’t think the OE+ filters sold at CT and PartSource are made by PG though I have an OE+ sitting here that I just compared with a Carquest Premium and they look completely different The OE+ says made in the USA and the PG made filters are made in China or Vietnam
