ImdB or the movie database - Plex Forum IMDB is ‘Plex Movie’ and that is used to draw those precious low-budget trailers for PP users - and also performs some other purposes, the value of which escapes me at the moment TMDB is a fine Movie Database - I’ve never had it miss However, in the Movie Agent area there’s a tab for both:

Is there a way to add Tags (automatically from IMDB or similar)? To . . . For example, in IMDB, there are tags like Christmas Movies, MCU etc The Movie Database has a very smilar feature (Keywords) I would really like to be able to grab these tags automatically (either with a plug in, an add on, a free feature or a paid feature) so that I could build playlists dynamicly such as all movies tagged with ‘superhero’
FYI: Plex Agents now preferring episode titles from IMDB over TMDB TVDB The new metadata ingestion is currently running, which does prevent generic IMDb episode titles from overriding other generic titles Since this involves a lot of internet services, databases, and caches, give it at least 72 hours before trying to refresh metadata of an affected show

Consistency of “Plex Movie” MetaData pulling from TMDB? For UK, the titles summaries come from imdb, cast credits comes tmdb and genre comes from all three Feel free to vote [Feature Request] Ability to specify Metadata from a single source (IMDB, TMDB or TVDB) if it’s of interest but I’m not hopefully this will ever be implemented
