Gone But Not Forgotten San Antonio Night Clubs Update Cowboy Nightclub was at 5607 Kenwick Dr on the corner of Kenwick and Joiner Very early 80's hangout (80-82) This is not to be confused with Cowboys Dance Hall at IH 35 and Fratt Interchange Cowboys was very small as clubs go If you look on street view of Google Maps you will see just how small the club was
Does any one remember the clubs from th 90s (bill, island) - San . . . We got to see The Romantics on stage at Daddy's on Fred Rd … awesome New Years Eve's parties … giant sub-woofers on main dance floor … most weekends it was packed … one person out, and one let in at the door … separate smaller club upstairs, with different music … leather couches upstairs, real comfy … never have found another place like it in San Antonio, though still looking !!!

The culture still exists The clubs just aren’t as out in the open as they used to be I remember being a kid in my dad’s van driving down Ste Catherine or Ontario and seeing the streets lined with neon-lit stripper silhouettes lol

By mid-70's Disco came in then the "super clubs" like the Studio 54, the Red Parrots, etc , with huge dance floor and music videos are the places to go This is not a good visual but polyester shirts, bell-bottom pants, gold chains and Tony Orlando hair style were the craze!
