What is a moon and star trademark? - NAWCC Forums The crescent moon and star is usually the trademark for the Crescent Watch Case Co They made very good cases I have seen many of these in nickel with 4-digit serial numbers, and I am guessing that may be what you have Nickel cases are very sturdy and dependable cases I have also seen silver and gold-filled cases from Crescent, but have yet to see a solid gold example
