EGT - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum EGT's aren't effected as much as one would think with "cold air" within reason Not to mention boost PSI holding at or climbing past 6 PSI sustained starts heating the intake air post-CAC more than you realize Any device used to monitor EGTs is a nice thing to have not a requirement
Where is this EGT sensor? - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum 2016 250 bone stock Can anybody tell me where this sensor is located? Is the one on the exit side of the EGR cooler? Upgrading Edge CTS to CTS3 , EGT not working. So my old edge cts finally stopped working, so I ordered the new CTS3 to replace it I have my old EGT probe starter kit from the CTS setup which worked fine on the CTS It plugs right into the CTS3 harness I bought the CTS3 so that it would be an easy swap out and just plug in the EGT sensor
Safe EGTs? - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum The EGT PID seems to be the one to monitor for manifold EGT I'll try to remember to update when I tow with the truck, although my trailer is probably less than 5,000 pounds At this point, I can't won't assume that just because a truck is a 2020, that it won't run excessively high EGTs
Egt monitoring - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum OEM EGT sensors are no more accurate than any other EGT sensor The data signal still needs to be converted to a reading My experiences using the Edge CTS3 w EAS EGT sensor and the OEM EGT sensor used for the EGTR11 PID shows the readings are not that different Are they 100% exactly the same at the same time??

What to monitor on Banks iDash - Ford Powerstroke Diesel Forum I’m definitely doing the regen status, DPF soot load, EGT, and trans temps But for the other two options, I was thinking EOT and ECT? I remember years back the 6 0 guys used to keep a close eye on those temperatures, although that doesn’t seem to be the case with the 6 7
2016 6. 7 Powerstroke - CAN OBD2 Torque Pro Question - EGT Hi everyone I have a 2016 F450 Pickup (with factory emissions) that I've been using to haul my trailers with I come from the 7 3 world and used to have to watch the pyrometer EGT sensors pretty thoroughly to make sure things wouldn't get too hot and melt crack the pistons I understand that
