Garmin Zumo Basecamp - What maps do you use? - Adventure Rider I've downloaded gpx files for the IDBDR and can see them in Basecamp, but can't upload to my XT Am thinking I have to buy maps from Garmin for Basecamp to then be able to do that? Am wading through the big XT thread on here but its 200+ pages, so slow going I'd like to just use Basecamp and the XT for all route planning and capture if possible
Google Maps to Basecamp Tracks Routes for Dummies Launch Basecamp Under File, Import the gpx file you've created This will create a track in Basecamp Select the track in the list and right click and rename since it will have added some extra stuff to the name With your renamed track highlighted in the list, under Basecamp's EDIT menu, use the "Create Route From Track" command

Basecamp taking forever to calculate a route? - Adventure Rider I still think Basecamp is a terrible, terrible, thing and, as others have mentioned, one is far better off planning on other apps and importing and making final adjustments on Basecamp and then move to the GPS I also still think that a $750 device should not have to interact with software as terrible as Basecamp
Basecamp not finding gps device - Adventure Rider Never mind, Basecamp, how about your computer? Is the InReach showing up in the list of connected drives? Lots of times I used to plug in my Montana to my Mac and it would take "forever" for the Mac to add the Montana to the list of connected devices Sometimes never at all and I'd have to unplug and replug until eventually it would connect
One long route split or. . ? - Adventure Rider In the past when creating routes in Basecamp I’ve run into the issue - as I modify the route based on input from other riders - of having to split it into multiple legs to avoid having any routes with 50 plus waypoints This year I’m just creating one route in Basecamp for Mac for a 16 day trip that has no defined daily end points
Garmin Basecamp - Adventure Rider Basecamp is great it gives people something to do on long rainy weekends or when their bike is broken for a couple weeks i know most of the happy pictures on adv show people holding up their laptops at the top of a mountain, celebrating Basecamp for having gotten them there the sweet loving posts just go on and on about Basecamp

Basecamp install problems - Adventure Rider As the user data of Garmin Basecamp, Garmin Express or Garmin Homeport is saved in a separate database - you will not lose it Then Install Basecamp 4 6 2 If you simply install 4 6 2 without uninstalling Garmin Basecamp and Garmin Express, Mapinstall will not be downgraded
