  • Victorinox: Explorer vs. Huntsman - BladeForums. com
So I'm planning to buy a new Victorinox SAK, and as of now, I've narrowed it down to two, the Explorer and the Huntsman However, I'm having a bit of a hard time deciding and I was hoping guys here would help guide me to a solid decision So here are my pro's and cons for the 2 knives EXPLORER
  • Anyone know when they discontinued the Victorinox Explorer Plus . . .
I have looked at that site (it is very good) Unfortunately, although it mentions the Explorer Plus variation, it does not provide info on dates of manufacture or when it was discontinued I found a forum thread where people were talking about the Explorer Plus no longer being listed for sale and most likely discontinued in 2019
  • A comparison between the Deluxe Tinker, the Explorer, and the Evolution . . .
Explorer So It's been a long time since I've owned a Wenger Swiss Army Knife Long before Victorinox bought Wenger I've always felt that the Vics were of better quality compared to the Wengers But things change over time, and so I thought I would check out what the folks at Delemont had to offer So, I ordered a Victorinox Evolution S557
  • Victorinox Explorer - BladeForums. com
Enjoy that Explorer and consider picking up some of the smaller SAKs, too I always have a Classic around, generally on my keychain, and the Bantam with a knife blade and a bottle opener, toothpick, tweezers is a great, almost invisible, utility knife
  • When did Victorinox change the magnifying glass on the Explorer . . .
I just got a new Explorer Plus to replace one I bought a few months ago that I gave away as a gift To my surprise, it sported a completely different magnifying glass Not the gray plastic one I have known forever, but one with a larger lens and is all translucent "clear" plastic (no color)
  • Victorinox Explorer vs. Scientist - BladeForums. com
The Victorinox Scientist would be TWO backsprings layers thinner than the Explorer as the Scientist does not have the scissors - so it is only 2 backsprings wide (albeit with one of the backsprings slightly wider than normal) What you're talking about sounds more like the Yeoman - which is the Scientist with scissors (and the ubiquitous hook) -
  • Victorinox vs Leatherman? - BladeForums. com
Both I carry a Victorinox Swiss Army Knife (usually a four-layer Explorer model, but currently a seven-layer Champion) in my pocket as my default EDC knife When I’m not at work, I add a Leatherman Wave or Curl to my belt
  • Victorinox Yeoman - BladeForums. com
Guys, I just want to show you this Victorinox Yeoman Plus marketed a while back by Swissbianco While the Explorer Plus is my favorite production SAK, the Yeoman is to me even better I think it was produced in limited numbers by Victorinox way back when, and it would do exceedingly well
  • Victorinox explorer, leather slip and Ti pry bar - BladeForums. com
Good afternoon BladeForums! The whole kit has been used and carried Explorer is in good condition and so is the pry bar, it just has snail trails
  • Opinions on Victorinox Climber Spartan - BladeForums. com
The Victorinox Explorer It has scissors, but also has an in-line phillips screwdriver and magnifying glass Yes, I know but the Swiss Champ also has x, y, z The Explorer is still comfortable for pocket carry and the phillips is well worth (to me) the extra layer My 2 cents,
