How to clean Intake Valves and Turbo? - Hyundai Genesis Forum The 2 0 is not Direct Injection, therefore your intake valves are washed with gasoline and do not build up carbon I would think that a good fuel treatment injector cleaner would suffice for cleaning on your car I use CRC Intake cleaner on my '13 3 8 because it is Direct Injection and the intake valves get carbon buildup on them You may try cleaning your Throttlebody though
