Why did Pyrrha have to die? why couldn’t she have been saved . . . - Reddit Pyrrha's death is one out of several events in V3 to slap the audience in the face with the real plot which turns out to be a 'traverse the world' JRPG story where bad things always get worst They needed a major character to die for the slap to hit harder and they created Pyrrha for the solid purpose of playing this role
Character Analysis: Pyrrha Nikos : r RWBY - Reddit Pyrrha says that she always felt she had a destiny to become someone important, a warrior in other words It wouldn't surprise me if there was a need for glory somewhere in Pyrrha's heart, and it wasn't just her need for purpose that guided her into her path Regarding Pyrrha's death, I do think it was completely understandable
Why do people say Pyrrhas death was a mistake? : r RWBY - Reddit Pyrrha's death is a copy-pasted trope that does not fit well in the story of RWBY It certainly didn't help that the fandom immediately latched onto Volume 3 and expected the show to turn out like GoT, but that exactly illustrates the problem with Pyrrha's death
The purpose of Pyrrhas death : r RWBY - Reddit But Pyrrha's death right then, in that place and at that moment, meant that the dragon--the largest, most powerful Grimm we've ever seen, and one which even Glynda (probably the most powerful, experienced Hunter left with Ozpin missing) was scared of--is frozen in place at its new home, rather than free to terrorize and drop more Grimm on Vale
Why I believe Pyrrhas Death was and still is So difficult to . . . - Reddit My main beef with Pyrrha's death is that they gave her a ton of setup with the maiden thing, the talk about destiny, made her an amazing fighter, made her kill Penny, etc They gave her opportunity for a variety of different character arcs, moreso than any other character in RWBY And then they killed her off Oof
My thoughts on Pyrrhas death. . . : r RWBY - Reddit Pyrrha's death, while unique, was not a good kind of waste, it was a bad one; Pyrrha failed to do one major thing: create an attachment I care about ruby, weiss, blake, and Yang I don't really care much for Pyrrha; her death isn't something that makes me sad, it just makes me shrug and leaves me disappointed That's my opinion, anyways
What is your interpretation of Pyrrha’s death? : r RWBYcritics - Reddit Me: Pyrrha’s death was the result of her not using the last of her aura to retreat after the reasonable and crucial objective of protecting the tower until reinforcements arrive failed with her still alive, a tactical mistake that isn’t too unbelievable by flaw, love, or stupidity, or perhaps a bit of all
What are your thoughts on Pyrrha Nikos? : r RWBY - Reddit Pyrrha Nikos is, was, and always will be my favorite RWBY character to me In my eyes she not only is an honorary Autumn Maiden but she also would have wrecked Cinder if she wasn’t a Maiden Every time people say “Well Cinder was a fully trained killer and would have won regardless” Pyrrha was not stupid She knew that
Pyrrhas Death and Rubys Silver Eyes : r RWBYcritics - Reddit I then argue that instead of Pyrrha being used despite working from an in-universe standpoint, that instead Penny's death or Yang losing her arm would've utilized characters Ruby has received on-screen development with and are shown and effectively told that Ruby cares about to do this
So, what exactly was the deal with what happened to Pyrrha in the . . . Well, that's kind of why I think Pyrrha's death is definitely unique for several reasons beyond giving Ruby the push to unlock her special eyes It has a lot of signs to it that at the very least imply Pyrrha's spirit or essence may not be entirely gone in my perspective And on another note, her disintegrating Pyrrha seems in-character to me
