Carter Guitars Not Many For Sale? - The Steel Guitar Forum Put it on craigslist for a couple weeks nothing Finally sold it on consignment at Guitar Showcase for pennies on the dollar after it sat for a couple months I doubt the reason I had so much trouble selling it was because it was a Carter, more likely because pedal steels are seen as an oddity in the SF Bay Area

Self Taught - The Steel Guitar Forum As far as being in an area where steel guitar is unpopular, you can't even buy a steel guitar in a music shop around here let alone get lessons Even Craigslist is absent of steel guitars unless I want to drive 150 miles or so I can't even find a used steel in a pawn shop in this area
