  • Opportunities - EMTBravo. com
Upcoming Events - Emergency Services Employment - On The Homefront
  • From: Ladder Tower or Tower Ladder? - EMTBravo. com
It won't kill them to leave the homefront once in a while to visit another fire station (But God forbid all of your Chiefs are out of town at the same time, you may get chastized by the EMTBravo forum readers!) Hey Mofire - it's only called "Tower Ladder 8" because you guys spent sooooo much money labeling it "LT-8!!!!" J K of course!

  • Anyone Enrolled In The Daytime FF2 Class This Week
CONGRATS TO ALL THE 22 students that took the firefighter 2 class you all did a great job The teachers were alwsome =-) Jim Sherdin, Tom Macpherson and Jimmy Lennox Best class i have ever taken and the instructor made it even more fun to take Congrats to all of the People who took the class and good luck and stay safe on your homefront
  • Topic Titles And Proper Forums: Some Housekeeping Notes
Members- Just some housekeeping notes: 1 Please keep you topic titles as descriptive as possible Also, remember proper spelling and grammar in topic title
  • We need help naming the new section of the forum. . Any ideas?
We've selected "On The Homefront" for a couple of different reasons First, it is subtle and somewhat implies what the forum is about Second, it encompasses the wide variety of professions found here on this board, whether it is Fire, EMS, Rescue, Communications, etc
  • A and B tones for westchester - Operations (Fire-EMS-Police-911 . . .
Especially when you live outside your district you can monitor the homefront For those that photograph scenes the county coordinators tone is a godsend For those that know they are second alarm, they can get a head start to group at the firehouse (Saving lives and time) I wish the county would have one tone to alert the entire county for
  • Parades or Fires - which is more important?
But what about coverage back home? Recently, I can think of several incidents where Departments were attending parades, and left the homefront unprotected Montrose Parade - ****** FD had some kind of call and sent units back to cover - why? Mount Kisco Parade - ****** had a fire they couldn't cover, so 1 and 1 were sent in mutual aid
