Need encouragement re # of eggs retrieved — The Bump IVF #1 - 4 eggs retrieved, all mature, all fertilized, all strong on day 5 2 transferred, 1 frozen I was pregnant for 6 weeks IVF #2 - 6 eggs retrieved, 5 mature and fertilized, 2 made it to day 5 and I got pregnant with 3 babies Low egg numbers does not mean failure SO many women get pregnant with a low number of eggs and embryos
Why was I perscribed methylprednisolone for IVF? — The Bump I have a new RE and a new protocol for IVF#3 When I tried to google it, I saw a lot of references to assisted hatching - which, to the best of my knowledge, we aren't doing this cycle
How many days did you stim for IVF? — The Bump IVF #1 - 10 days IVF #2 - 11 days My RE would not let me travel once my monitoring appointment started (which was 5 days fater starting stims) b c you never know exactly when you will need to go back Sometimes there was a day between monitoring appointments and other times I was at the office every single day If the interview is important to you, I would push your cycle back It is not
Missed dose of estrogen — The Bump Okay, so I'm an idiot I'm on 2mg of estradiol, twice a day (4mg total) in pill form, 5 weeks, 3 days pregnant after fresh transfer of donor embryo (my wife's egg) Last night, I forgot my evening estradiol pill I'm on schedule for progesterone Doctor says to just stick to my schedule moving forward I know that it's probably fine, but has anyone here missed a dose, and have things been fine
