Shooters World powders - anybody use? | Snipers Hide Forum Has anyone used any Shooters World powders? They make a powder that is supposed to imitate H4350, which is what I am particularly interested in Just curious to hear what peoples experience are with this powder; quality, temp stability, etc I haven;t heard of anyone using these powders yet
Shooters world precision | Snipers Hide Forum I just tried out a full load work up for my 20-inch 308 with Shooters World Precision I loaded a 178gr ELD-M, 210M primers, and Lake City Brass and worked up to 43gr Accuracy was excellent The best shooting charge weight was 42 3 grains, which yielded 2,520 fps with a SD of 7 at 36 degrees It's a little slow, however the groups are by far the best my rifle has ever shot and it'll barely
Range Report - . 308 Load development powder question. I started off with Shooters World Precision Rifle powder Varget is as rare as Pixie dust right now, and I was able to get 3 lbs of this stuff to try out for $20 lb It meters really well and overall, I was quite pleased with the results
One powder, 5. 56 and 7. 62 | Snipers Hide Forum Maybe Shooters World Match Rifle? I just loaded up 250 223's and it metered like magic It's a ball powder so it isn't going to have the best temp sensitivity but most reports say it is very consistent It advertised impressive velocities for 223 5 56 but I haven't tested it myself yet Supposed to be better for heavier 223
Shooters World Powder: Long Rifle for 6. 5 Creedmoor I'm using Peterson brass, which I highly reccommend The quality is top tier, but they are half the price of manufacturers such as Lapua who have similar quality I got the small rifle primer kind The bullet is Nosler Custom Competition 6 5 140gr The meplats are pretty un-uniform, so that may have a small impact on my group size I'm just getting into long range shooting, so I didn't want to
Shooters world powder | Snipers Hide Forum I bought a jug of the Precision Rifle powder after seeing favorable reviews in comparing it to Varget The good news is it does indeed seem very temp stable and gave me great SDs The bad news is it seems to give quite a bit lower velocity than the lot of Varget I have A couple of examples: 5 56mm LC cases loaded with 69 grain SMKs 25 grains of Varget gave me 2730 fps 25 grains of Precision
