Best Ammo Options for the P17 - Community for Kel-Tec Shooters I don't buy Remington 22 LR ammo Much of it has a loose crimp that allows the bullet to rotate and even tilt in the case Some firearms like that as the cartridge can bend in the middle and flexing helps it chamber, but it causes jams in all of the Kel-Tec 22 LR firearms I've tried I don't generally have trouble shooting old 22 LR ammo, even 30+ years old, but I wouldn't trust loose crimped
