about me: the first thing you should know about me is that i am a military brat. i was born in new orleans, la then moved to san juan, puerto rico, st. louis, mo and finished out my childhood in cape may, nj.i moved to new york city after high school to become an actor and after some thought i decided to give los angeles a try. in my years as an actor, i had the pleasure of performing in various theatrical productions in over 200 cities worldwide, including 47 of the 50 states, all across canada, germany, austria, and switzerland. so, in a nutshell, i have done a lot of traveling.as a child, i can remember watching my grandfather take pictures of everything, always with his camera looped around his neck. who knew that 20 years later, i too would follow in his footsteps.i like to think it was fate that led me to my passion for photography, but who can really tell. i find that sometimes your passions just fall into your lap accidentally and you make the choice to follow through. that is exactly what happened to me when i picked up my first slr.being that i started out in the entertainment industry 20 years ago as an actor, it gives me a keen sense of what an actor needs in a headshot. your photograph is the first contact between you and a casting director or agent. it needs to say a lot without saying anything at the same time.
