How to break into the 100+ range? : r Typeracer - Reddit More practice is the most important factor As you start getting into the higher speeds, it's exponential regarding the practice you need to increase It took me hundreds of races to improve from like 60 wpm to 100 It took me thousands more to improve to 120s, and >20k races to improve to my current plateau usually at mid 130-140s average To get even faster than that (what I've been working
What are good websites to use to practice typing? : r typing - Reddit I've been using typing club for a bit, but I've gotten to the point where it has become unrealistic It wants you to type at 50+ wpm and have perfect accuracy Are there any other websites that are good to use to practice typing? Looking to try something new that doesn't have completely unreasonable expectations
Average Type Speed for Typists Enthusiasts : r typing - Reddit Lately, I’ve been “competing” on typeracer and some of these dudes are FAST AF And it had me thinking: what is the average speed for an actual typing enthusiast? This would be better answered as a poll, but what do you expect the average typing speed to be for the people who can touch type practice regularly?
What WPM do *you* consider to be fast? - Reddit Personally I have reached 130 WPM a couple of times in typeracer but that's not my typing speed The only real benefit for me is that the faster you learn to type, the more comfortable it will be at slower speeds (with less mistakes) So, i average around 90 WPM in general and everything above 120 is probably uncomfortably fast for most of us
Is Typeracer better than monkeytype? : r typing - Reddit Type racer is definitely better than monkeytype , yeah its time consuming but if you regularly type in monkeytype and switch to type racer you can see a drastic decline in your typing speed because typeracer makes you type a lot of punctuation marks
Indecisive between Typeacer or Monkeytype to increase Accuracy - Reddit As of late, I have been wanting to increase my accuracy (been dabbling between MonkeyType and Typeracer) but find myself conflicted on if continue to practice on typearacer is the right decision to improve my accuracy I currently type around 54 wpm Which one would you guys reccomend?
Any better site than Typing club? : r typing - Reddit If you have learnt how to touch type then only use typeracer for a few weeks You may seem way slower on typeracer than u were on typing club but trust me that's the only way you are going to be able to learn punctuation and numbers on the way
What are the different experience levels? : r Typeracer - Reddit Hey! I know this post is quite old already, but here's a list of all skill levels incl badges! Hope this still helps! Typist 1: 10 races Typist 2: 50 races Typist 3: 100 races Typist 4: 250 races Typist 5: 500 races Typist 6: 1,000 races Typist 7: 2,500 races Typist 8: 5,000 races Typist 9: 10,000 races Typist becomes Racer if you upgrade to premium Badges: https: cdn discordapp com
Sites like Nitrotype. : r typing - Reddit Hey u Ricodm14! Obviously typeracer is a decent choice though you seem to have explored it Another option is keybr's multiplayer mode It, just like Nitrotype, doesn't require a backspace, but I'm not sure if you can play it without signing in
