Rotary Rake Question - Hay Forage Forum Man with a Kuhn rotary on a farm down the road from us has broke 2 or 3 wheels off his gfrom groundhog holes I figure he must be hitting them pretty fast I like to run mine around 400rpm Some wind them up near 540 but they rake alot better for me at around 400-maybe 425 in thick hay Good luck with it and lets hear some feedback soon
Kuhn speed rake issues - Hay Forage Forum I have a kuhn sr108 that is probably 10 years old and is having issues raking hay cleanly I have adjusted everything on it like the ground pressure, made sure the rake was level and the windrow width and it still misses hay In heavy thick hay it’s like the back 2 wheels get lifted up and rides

Bought this machine new, used it for three days

Thanks!
Who makes the best tedder? | Hay Forage Forum Kuhn seems good as well, but pricey in this area Ultimately if NH doesn't want to do anything I'll just use the NH tedder for a couple years then see about a Krone 3 point tedder Since my experiences with my Krone double rake have been so good The Vermeer would probably be ok, but I think I would still like a 3 point better then a trailed
