Company News:
  • Margo, Margeaux, or Margaux — The Bump
If you won't do Margot, of the three: Margo Or you can name her Margaret Reese and go with Margo as a nickname? In my opinion, you can spell nicknames any way you'd like She'd always have Margaret as a formal name If being a math nerd is wrong, I don't wanna be right!
  • Recommended daycares in Main Line KOP areas? — The Bump
Margaret George School - okay, don't like the playground - the kids have to cross the parking lot to a playground covered in yuck from the trees above For Kids Sake - Awesome people, great price, terrible facility
  • Boys and girls names to go with Lily. — The Bump
DD's name is Lily Margaret (margaret is OH's mums name) Names I like: Girls Cora Ava Bethany Dakota MN would be Marie Boys Zachary Noah Kaleb MN- Thomas (OH's name) or Stephen (my dads middle name and my brothers name) I dont mind whos family name is used as a middle name Think my fav sibset is Lily and Zachary? Open to suggestions thou
  • Ultrasound - measuring 1 week behind - The Bump
I am 7 wks, 2 days today (based on LMP) and I went in for my first ultrasound The baby is measure at 1 week behind, or 6 weeks
  • My sad, pathetic name list — The Bump
Other suggestions: Margaret (plenty of cute nicknames here: Meg, Margot, Maggie, Greta, etc ) Aurelia Jane Matilda (nn could be Tillie) As for boys, I love the name Theodore - and love the nn Theo! Other classic but uncommon boy names: Francis Eli Leland Oliver (pretty common now, though) August (nn Gus?)
  • Full names for the NN Kit — The Bump
Yes but the doll's name is actually Margaret Mildred Kittredge OP, for men, Kit is a NN for Christopher so maybe any feminine form of that like Christine, Christina, Kristin, etc
  • Girl names that dont end in a — The Bump
Nearly all the girl names we like end in "a" (Maya, Lydia, Kayla, etc) However, so does my name which means it won't flow well as a middle name
  • Names that go with Cameron - The Bump
I am curious what other people's impressions are about the "feel" of the name Cameron (DS) What boy or girl names would you associate as a good sibset?
  • Classic Southern names for girl? — The Bump
From my experience, they often have super traditional names (Charlotte, Margaret, Mallory, Elizabeth) with a lot of last names maiden names as middle names Or, formal names with cute nn's like "Mallie" or "Maimie" or "Mickey" (not sure why the M-theme seems so prevalent!) Or just normal names common to the rest of America
  • Requesting all Southern Belle names please :) — The Bump
Priscilla, Eleanor, Lucinda, Caroline, Margaret, Patricia, Vivian (ne) Maybe something like Melanie I have met several Junior League Mary Catherines, or other Mary-double names June, Faye, Rose and Grace for middle names Something a bit refined, not bumpkin-y This I'm in NC Southern sophisticates love nicknames for formal, usually family
