Disk genius yay or nay? : r techsupport - Reddit Time machine (the mac backup software) ofc wanted to wipe the entire disk before backup The mac didn't want to partition presumably due to old age Went to partition on Windows however can't shrink volume on an ExFAT disk Now using DiskGenius Anyone had any problems with this seemingly free and handy software? Help me make sense of my bad sector situation (DiskGenius) - Reddit Finished performing low-level formatting, and currently in the process of performing read tests on the drives I used DiskGenius (initially used HD sentinel, but the software froze and didn't want to start from square one, and DiskGenius allows read tests of specific areas of the drive) and it found a total of 3 bad sectors on one of the drives
