Baltimore Cut | Lake St. Clair Fishing Forum Took the Baltimore Cut for the first time this weekend Wow! What a great shortcut over to Munchies from the North Channel Compared to the route I have been taking, all the way out of the buoys and the long way around Grassy Island, it's half the distance in mileage, and equally half the time to get there I'm stoked!
Hang out spots - Lake St. Clair Fishing Forum Anchor Bay Dr is a just a bit further up the road from there and there is a DNR launch and also Deckers Landing Those would put you within good distance of Strawberry Island, Grassy Island and even Munchies The end of the North Channel may get a little busy but you could probably run outside the main channel in your boat and be out of the way
Best areas on the lake for skiing tubing? Depending on which way the wind is blowing, we sometimes run up to the north end of the lake by Munchies bay If your boat is small enough to avoid the no wake rules in the Snye I would go there for skiing and boarding For tubing, usually the passengers LIKE a little bit of chop so they get bounced around
Tot Lot - Lake St. Clair Fishing Forum Munchies Bay is at the North East side of Anchor Bay It is really called Bouvier Bay on charts It is very shallow between the North Channel and Bouvier Bay Coming from South of Metro Beach, I played it safe and pretty much went north until Bouvier Bay was due East, then turned to the East Look on a chart, you'll see what I mean
