Why are my new brushes starting to splay out already? I bought a couple of W N Artisan brushes a few weeks ago, I thought I was paying enough to have something that would last a while I have not used them much but the lager one alread seems to be deterioating, the bristles are staring to splay out at the tip I am sure I must be doing something silly to cause this to happen

So many brands of Sable brushes…which one to choose… I have a #10 Robert Simmons Sapphire blend, and don’t like it at all It must have like one red sable hair in it, because it always feels like just another golden taklon synthetic to me Shame, because the brushes seem to have a good reputation It’s not for me though To add to your choices, Princeton also offers an affordable red sable
