Fuel smell by the tank - Chevy Avalanche Fan Club of North America My '07 has 112k miles on it Not sure where it spent most of its life, but despite looking great outside it's pretty rusty underneath I smell fuel by the left rear door It's not dripping but it's a raw fuel smell I suspect a rusted fuel line I checked the filler tube and there's no obvious
