Whats the difference?. nsz . nsp . xci?? : r yuzu - Reddit nsp is an eshop package This is also the standard format for update files and DLC Between nsp and xci, there shouldn't be any performance difference I have seen issues with random xci files, but I'm not sure why those don't work right Performance is largerly dependent on how well the emus translate the Switch stuff for your hardware

How to play with . nsp and . xci files? : r yuzu - Reddit Yuzu works with both extensions, you only need the base game, updates and DLC are optional, i normally use nsp extensions only But you need the emulator, latest version if possible, and the prod keys from your switch to use it
FYI: Its possible to convert nsp only games to xci with NSC . . . - Reddit NSC Builder is great, but converting nsp to xci like this doesn't make it a valid gamecard dump The signatures won't stay intact because you have to modify the ncas inside the nsp to convert it into a gamecard image I highly doubt an nsp -> xci conversion will work
