VAV vs VVT | HVAC-Talk: Heating, Air Refrigeration Discussion The VVT system relies heavily upon all the distributed zones having similar conditions It is a cheap setup IMO to provice any heat to an area it must stop cooling the others We are not talking about dual duct roght ? VAV controls cooling by controling the volume of air, this also has problems
Carrier V3 VVT System - HVAC-Talk Can anyone give me a quick run down on the addressing of these controllers? I have several AHUs, with bypass controllers, master zones, and several VVT controls per AHU (less than 40 modules total) I know there should be a certain order to the address between these, yet cannot find any
Carrier VVT help - HVAC-Talk VVT is one of my weaknesses I have never install or had any training I know there are different generations Does anyone have a cheat sheet of sorts for troubleshooting? JCI - Metasys vs. Facility Explorer - HVAC-Talk Metasys is for JCI branches and Facility Explore is for their agents and is more for commercial work I remember there is a package VVT controller line in facility explorer You can't get Metasys unless you are a branch or an authorized agent Locally in Toronto, I think Yorkland sells facility explorer controllers So maybe there is something similar in your area
Circon controller for Aaon RTUs, VVT system - HVAC-Talk Most VVT systems don't control to SAT, they fire stages based on the max (voted) demand for heating or cooling and assume the system is sized to accomodate Assuming SAT is supply temp, there is at least a sensor at the RTU for that Is it correct to think it's therefore possible to have a low limit, assuming UHC-320 controlling the RTUs?
Old carrier VVT zone controller actuator info - HVAC-Talk Old carrier VVT zone controller actuator info I am replacing an old Carrier VVT system with the white zone controller actuators with the circuit board on them I want to reuse a few of those, but I can't find the info on just the actuator Are these just floating control? What is the wiring scheme and voltage? Thanks
York RTU Question | HVAC-Talk: Heating, Air Refrigeration Discussion The messed up part of my VAV VVT system is that it didn't have any sort of bypass damper, it based the output of the VFD off duct static It sounds like yours may benefit with having one, I know mine would have
Automated Logic Bacnet point IDs - HVAC-Talk Hey guys and gals I'm trying to intergrate my current BMS to take over some Automated Logic vav's,vvt's, and fcu controllers I was able to probe the controllers and get most of the points except the temp setpoints I am able to program and read the other I Os So I am in need of the Instance
