Stretched PA20 22, Bushmaster, Javelin, etc - SuperCub. Org The designers of the Super Pacer went a completely different root than the Producer and designed a new wing useing 19 ribs, spliced spars and all PA 22 parts except for the wing strut attachement and jury strut attachments which are PA 18 They also redesigned a new wing strut system that uses a 4 in front and rear strut blank
SERVICE BULLETIN Service Bulletin (SB) 1379B supersedes SB 1379A in its entirety Aircraft that were previously made compliant with SB 1379A are in compliance with SB 1379B
PA-22 20 Producers - SuperCub. Org Steve, I have a Tri-Pacer fuselage and many other pieces I have been collecting for years for just such a project I've got my Clipper down for recover build right now and when that is done my L18C but am very interested in the Producer I figure it as a poor man's PA14 only better How much is the STC and what does it include Can you tell me what kinds of things you had to change? First plane Citabria or Pacer? - SuperCub. Org The pacer has a single door and a pain for the pilot, the pacer takes some extra skill on the ground, the pacer is butt ugly  On the other hand the spring gear on the citabria is not as nice as bungee gear Citabria is not a SC but is faster and more comfortable and a good choice for a first plane on your way to a SC
PA-18 tail feathers on a PA-20, Pacer - supercub. org My Pacer had stock tai feathers and it definitely took a while to get the tail up even with full nose down trim The big tail guys could blow them up right from the get go
Alaska Caribou hunt in a Pacer - supercub. org When I hunted with the Pacer we worked off the Ribdon river (big old 1200 ft strip) and had a truck on the haul road for fuel and to haul meat home Like I said it can be done but a lot of pieces to the puzzle my success rate of getting meat has ben 50 50 in that area Improves over the years as you would expect with more experience DENNY
Piper wings - SuperCub. Org I am going to build an Experimental Super Cub and have a question concerning Piper wings Are there any differences (excluding, of course, length and flaps) of the Super Cub, PA 12, Pacer, Tri Pacer, etc wings? Are the spars and ribs all the same? Thanks, Joe
Crosswind Stol and Slats on a Pacer - SuperCub. Org My Pacer is licenced as a amateur built in Canada It's a copy of a stock Pacer with a few minor enhancement mods Those slats have sure peaked my interest! Would really like to know how they would perform on a Pacer with its short wing
Pacer wings for a super cub. | SuperCub. Org Pacer and tripacer airfoil is the same airfoil as a cub If they attach correctly (I don't know if they will) they would be like a clipped wing cub Pacers and tripacers have a lower angel of incedence than cubs but I dont think that affects what you are talking about I would check to see if they damaged the wings putting on those wing tips
Experimental Pacers? - SuperCub. Org I have owned a 1951 Pacer, a 1960 Tri-pacer, and an experimental bushmaster A later model Pa-22 20 is a good option because the later Pa-22 are wider, have a larger bagage area, and have individual adjusting seats A Plain old Tri-pacer is a good airplane Only advantage with a taildragger is with skiis
