scope mount question | M14 Forum I decided the Polytech M14 I have is the best platform in my cabinet, so I went with a generic scope mount (for now) and a Bushnell 4-12x40 "sharpshooter" because it got decent reviews for a low dollar scope My problem is the rail is low enough that the rings that came with the scope don't allow it to clear the rear sight
