FORECLOSURE RELIEF BILL BECOMES LAW It also requires owners acquiring property through foreclosure to maintain the exterior of vacant residential properties The new law also extends from 30 to 60 days the time for residential tenants to move out of properties that have been foreclosed upon, unless other laws apply These requirements will remain in effect until January 1, 2013

If it is a primary residence you will : not get the 1099 If you have a second as a "non purchase money loan": the lender will have up to 4 years to sue for the amount in question : If it is a investment property, you probably will be looking at a 1099: for the difference
