Is the 6. 4 really a bad engine? - DODGE RAM FORUM I had a 2500 2014 6 4 Ram put 80,000 miles on it pulling a 24 ft stock trailer never had a issue with it, I had 4 10 gears and it pulled really good never used oil got 10 to 11 mpg pulling a full trailer of 900 lb cows and empty got 14 to 16 mpg loved the truck sold all my livestock and retired now have a 2020 1500 hemi love the hemi engine
