Anybody tried these reels? - Fishing Rods, Reels, Line, and Knots . . . I keep getting ads a baitcasting reel from a company called Obalus The price is $49 99 with free shipping for an 8 1:1 shallow spool carbon drag reel On the website, they have tons of positive reviews and no negative reviews, which makes me more than a little suspicious I just wonder if anyone
Daiwa Regal LT 2500 - Fishing Rods, Reels, Line, and Knots - Bass . . . Just picked this reel up from scheels online with a 5’6” ultralight Shakespeare rod for creek fishing I’m a long time fan of Daiwa in the bait casting world, but this is my first spinner from them and hoping it turns out great for my creek excursions with my family What’s your experience with t
I was done with Lews… - Fishing Rods, Reels, Line, and Knots - Bass . . . Lews high end reels cant be compared with Zillions and Metaniums, as they are more on Par with the Tatula SLX Curado lines (Lews works like this, take every reel they make and take away 25-40%, thats what it is worth and goes on sale for) And im a big Lews fan I think the Gen 3 designs across the board is much better, from fit, finish, and looks

BSF is a game changer - Fishing Rods, Reels, Line, and Knots - Bass . . . The issue is line capacity, just not enough to fish twenty five- thirty foot deep lakes with the Curado SLX reels One cast of a 1 4oz spinner and it’s almost spooled! I assume a smaller line like a ygk x8 #1 would be a improvement, but not really familiar with the Japanese line design designations and conversions
Daiwa is simply smoother than Shimano now - Fishing Rods, Reels, Line . . . Be it the Curado E, Chronarch D, any of the Conquest reels, any of the calais anteres, any older metaniums, etc Shimano was the "buttery smooth" retreive reels while daiwa, in most cases, couldn't get to its smoothness, especially when some resistance is applied on the line
