Saber Grind vs. Full Height Flat Grind Which Do You Prefer and Why? Are there any advantages to one vs the other? From a geometry perspective (not my best subject in school ), it would seem for a blade of the same size, shape and spine thickness (like say a 22" thick ASH-1), that the blade just above the edge would be thicker on a saber grind than on a full height flat grind (but maybe not enough to make a noticeable difference?)
