Chrome Android keeps opening websites in desktop mode I was able to fix this In Chrome I went to chrome: flags This shows a list of "experiments" One of them is "Request desktop site for tablets on Android" It was set to default I changed it to disabled Now things are back to normal, tabs open in mobile mode and I can change to desktop mode if I want to
