Using the scrapper vs the matter deconstructor - Reddit I think with the scrapper it gives you a more or less set medium ish amount of materials per part whereas with the deconstructor it depends on the item's remaining health So if you have a mostly full health part you're better off using the deconstructor but if it's at less than 50% you'll get more loot finishing it off with a scraper
Suggest me your “Do it all” Scrapper : r Cityofheroes - Reddit It isn't strictly necessary for a Scrapper, so this shouldn't 100% constrain your choices But it is nice quality of life to help prevent mob scatter whether solo or in a team Note that HC is unlikely to add aggro aura to any other existing or future armor powerset for scrappers (based on forum comments from volunteer powers dev)

Ruffian or Scrapper. : r swtor - Reddit Scrapper is single target burst damage, either punching or shotgun-blasting everything Ruffian is damage over time and AoE, and it uses its main-hand blaster quite a bit
