고려 호족 연합과 왕건의 통합 전략 고려는 후삼국 통일 과정에서 호족 (豪族) 세력과의 협력과 연합을 통해 중앙집권적 국가로 성장하였다 호족들은 신라 말기 지방에서 독립적인 세력을 형성한 군사·행정 지도층으로, 고려 건국과 왕권 확립에 중요한 역할을 했다 태조 왕건 (太祖 王建)은 호족 세력을 고려 체제 내로 흡수하면서도, 중앙집권을 강화하는 균형 전략을 사용했다 이 글에서는 호족 세력의 고려 지지, 왕건의 호족 통합 전략, 지방 세력과의 타협, 호족 연합의 정치적 성과를 심층적으로 분석한다 1 신라 말기의 혼란과 호족의 성장 신라 말기 (9세기~10세기)는 왕권 약화, 지방 반란, 농민 봉기가 계속되면서 중앙정부의 통제력이 급격히 무너졌다
