My review after 4 years I'm in grade 11 and got my dad purchased it in grade 7 I feel so bad that it wasn't used for 4 years because that is over $630 dollars wasted over the course of that time Anyways, this is my review When I first got it in grade 7 it was fantastic!
WTF is up with IXL? : r Teachers - Reddit Whenever I assigned IXL, I set a time limit - task x y OR 10 minutes, whichever is shorter (this was 4th grade; 20 min would be reasonable in middle school) Perhaps you can share your daughter's frustration with the teacher and ask if time working rather than mastery is okay Teachers can see the duration for which a student was actively working

Anyone use IXL as their primary curriculum? : r homeschool - Reddit In my opinion, IXL can be a good starting place for the accumulation of knowledge--but it wouldn't be a very rich educational experience without opportunities to think critically about that knowledge, apply it in various contexts, communicate further ideas, work as part of a team, make connections between topics, etc
Miacademy and IXL : r homeschool - Reddit Miacademy is an accredited full curriculum homeschool option We spend about 4-5 hours a day using this curriculum and it has been amazing for my daughter My daughter used iXL in public school prior and she wasn’t a fan There are a lot of resources and extension activities to use within Mia as well!
