Re: Scanning to SMB using Host Name Error - forum. support. xerox. com A couple times I did restart the copier and the scan did go through like once using hostname but when I tried again it would fail I was thinking first maybe firewall but it works with IP address so why is it having a problem reaching the computer name I also tried it using the workflow scanning option and hostname but same result
