If you are playing melee go Crimson it has good melee weapons like the Rotten Fork, Flesh Knuckles, Vampire Knives But if you want to be a mage go corruption, Crimson has good weapons like the golden shower and life drain, but corruption has the vilethorn and the band of star power (and magic cuffs)
