What is a fair price for an SKS these days? - Gun and Game Forum I'm going to meet a guy to look at one tomorrow and wondered what I need to look for when determining if his price is good So, my questions are: What's a fair price for a Chinese SKS, no frills, with the original 10-shot magazine? Say, modestly used, in good condition What's a fair price
S W 1854 (357 magnum) lever followed me home | Gun and Game Forum I've been hunting around for a while for a 357 Magnum lever gun to go with my S W 686 revolver I have several Henry's but wanted something a little different so opted for the Stainless Steel 1854 My initial thoughts are that I like the ghost ring sights and the action seems smooth enough

Ruger Blackhawk . 357 Mag Convertible Revolver w 9mm. . . tx81 said: "Just load in standard 9mm ammo and I'm good to go?" 9mm has its own cylinder, if you've gotten the 'convertible' model I wouldn't recommend trying to put 9mm Luger into 357 cylinder Well that much I already know I would use the appropriate cylinder, but my confusion was over the 'moon clips'
Get Home Bag So Far | Page 3 | Gun and Game Forum Another good question The states within about a 1 day drive don't care, so I'm good to go As far as hitchiking, I really hadn't considered hitchiking If it's too bad for AAA to tow me, or a family member to come get me, I don't think I'll be picked up hitchhiking even if I tried it
Reloading 30 cal Hornady CX bullet question | Gun and Game Forum Hi all, I was looking at the Hornady 30 cal CX 190 grain monolithic bullet to reload The spec's show a good 575 BC and 95% weight retention In reading Hornady's recommendation they suggest using their bullet seater stem because of the bullet dimensions and possible tip deformation I only have
So Im curious. . . . | Gun and Game Forum If it feels good, go with it When I shot archery leagues, my bow weighed close to 10lbs, where a lot of people like that 5-6lb mark I hunted that way, too You’re a beast! Granted I’m older now, but I shed all the weight I can when hunting I’ve cut my day pack, and rifle and bow weights, down as low as I think I can get it at this point
Sig Sauer Romeo on a M P 15-22? - Gun and Game Forum You ought to be good to go with that model I've got the ROMEO-5 on my pistol with a Suarez Commando upper and it holds zero fine So if you're concerned about muzzle blast and or recoil you ought to be fine I'll see y'all when I see y'all
. 223, 1 in 8 twist, 16. 5 barrel - Gun and Game Forum Im about to do the same thing with my 16" 1 8 5 56 barrel but im probably not even going to try anything over 68 grains i have really good luck in the past with federal 50 gr hp's, but that was a 1 9 twist barrel and they would get pushed around alot by any wind at 300+ ill probably test those, some 62 gr stuff and some 68 grain stuff
Is a 7. 62 round acceptable to hunt deer | Gun and Game Forum Go deer hunting with something that looks like it came from SOF magazine and watch the people wail about it As far as I am concerned if you are a good enough shot (and a responsible hunter) and can shoot a deer with your AK-47 carrying a legal number of rounds then I have no problem with it
