Passenger Restraint Malfunction FIXED!!! - BimmerFest BMW Forum I had the SRS issue and C110 showed bad mat I bought the mat and belt emulator from blshop on ebay It worked like a champ but then it threw a 9AFF code I tried the resistor fix for the battery cable as described A 2 ohm resistor did not work for me, but a 1 ohm 10V resistor DID work! Now, no lights Finally!!

If the passenger seat light in the overhead goes out it's your seat mat, DOA I suggested relaxing the leather as someone last year or so, on this forum, was able to correct the problem with this fix All indications on a 93c3 code is the mat cracked due to excess, localized pressure Kneeling on the seat often causing this failure
SRS Diode Resistor Bypass anyone? - BimmerFest BMW Forum If your passenger occupancy sensor is broken and SRS light is on a dash board - airbags will deploy for passenger in case of an accident The purpose of using resistors and diode is just to shut off the SRS light It is an emulation of a working sensor and passenger presence Meaning, in case of accident airbags for passenger will deploy regardless anybody is there Like in many other cars
