Help! Severely cracked lacquer in back of maple neck Apparently, the increased humidity did major damage to the finish on the back of the neck About a 10in x 2in area is cracked, flaking off exposing the wood, and the area is lighter in color than the rest of the neck Is it the lacquer that’s cracked? How can I assess if there’s damage to the wood? Pics attached
Buddy guy strat - Telecaster Guitar Forum When I was in the market for my first Strat, I tried the polka-dot Buddy Guy MIM signature (as a huge BG fan -- he pretty much swayed me to the Strat) I LOVED the neck -- it was the beefiest Strat neck I had ever played I should have bought that guitar but I was put off by the polka dots
