Help! Severely cracked lacquer in back of maple neck Apparently, the increased humidity did major damage to the finish on the back of the neck About a 10in x 2in area is cracked, flaking off exposing the wood, and the area is lighter in color than the rest of the neck Is it the lacquer that’s cracked?
