Surfline is good because of the cams NOAA has a pretty good network of buoys off shore and you can usually determine specifics from that On the east coast here I always bounce back and forth between them and swell info if you get through the ads lol I think we all have our local breaks dialed in and we know what’s up during swells storms

So it's kind of a pain in the butt to figure out because surfline's api is a mess I think that they recently updated their id system, because each spot has two ids (a four digit one, that I think is legacy, and a longer one (looks like 12 bytes) this is the one you want)
It’s 2023, what are your opinions on Surfline premium nowadays? The historical data (you can punch in a range of historical dates and get the full forecast for those dates) that MSW has for spots is an excellent planning resource I’ll miss that Besides that, it’s v similar to Surfline (Surfline might also have that historical data feature, never subscribed personally )
