69gr TMK with Ramshot TAC. . . anyone had any luck? - AR15. COM Loaded ten rounds each with TAC in 3gr increments from 23 4gr up to 24 6 using new LC cases, CCI#41's, and a 2 255" OAL This is roughly in the middle Ramshot 5 56mm 69gr SMK data, and 24 6 is a full grain short of the max listed

COM The muzzle velocity for the 10-shot string of the PMC 62 grain X-TAC ammunition fired from the 20” Colt barrel was 3073 FPS with a standard deviation of 14 FPS and a coefficient of variation of 0 46% For comparison, IMI M855 chronographed from the same 20” Colt barrel had a muzzle velocity of 3110 FPS with a standard deviation of 21 FPS
Hornady 62gr FMJ w Ramshot TAC 5. 56 load suggestions? - AR15. COM TAC is my favorite, as it meters perfectly in my old RCBS Uniflow measure After trying a number of charge weights, I have settled on 24 5 gr as what has been most consistent It also is easy on the brass
25. 8 Grains TAC under a Hornady 75gr BTHP Match (MAX NATO LOAD . . . I use TAC with 68grn Hornadys and found a sweet spot for my Wylde chambered RRA A4 at 25 1grns and at 25 9grns in Win brass with Remington 7½ (SRM) primers at 2 260" OAL Ramshot V5 0, page 23, lists 26 0grns as their max with 68grn Hornady HPBT bullets in their 5 56 NATO level loads so I can confirm that TAC likes to be loaded near max

COM I've used TAC, mostly with Sierra and Hornady bullets in the 65-75 grain range in Colt 1 in 7" barrels Flows well through a measure and generally provides good accuracy, but I've usually found H4895 will make at least slightly more accurate loads Of course, H4895 doesn't go through a measure quite as well as TAC
Anyone getting good accuracy out of TAC in 223? - AR15. COM TAC is my base powder in 223, and it’s the first powder I try when testing a new bullet It can give fantastic velocity all of the time and great accuracy some of the time In 223, there is typically a 2 gr window in the 5 56 pressure range when SD’s will be single digits
Probably going to get flak but . . . my Bul Armory Tac Pro seems to be a . . . I’ve owned 4 different Staccato pistols over the past several years with my P Duo being my favorite That was until I purchased this Tac Pro This gun is simply amazing It shoots so well and flat that if you miss, it is you and not the gun… lol Accuracy is outstanding as well as the quality for the price compared to the Staccato
