Excel opens book 2 - Microsoft Community Hi, Recently whenever I open Excel 2007 it opens an additional blank worksheet (book2) I checked the xlstart folder (both the programs user one) and there is nothing in them Any Ideas?
When I open an Excel sheet a blank Book1. xlsx also opens I have a PC using Windows 10 Home running Office 16 I recently set up an Excel sheet with settings that I want all future Excel sheets to be like I save it as Book1 xlsx in folder:

Book2 created with linked cells. Now cant find Book2 file I was in an Excel document and opened the same document in the screen (reduced the screen and added a second window in the document) Basically opened the document showing a different tab in the document I changed a cell in the newly opened document tab and apparently saved the new document
Update links to other documents resets - Microsoft Community I saved and closed Book2 xlsx Upon reopening Book2 xlsx, the option "Update links to other documents:" is selected (CHECKED) again! Consistent result when tried with any new or existing file (also tried reboots, reloads, etc with same result)
