47re to 48re swap? | Cummins Diesel Forum I have stuff I do to a 47RE VB , stuff I do to a 48RE if it is running a TV cable and stuff if it is a 48RE with a TVA motor if your worried then get the 48RE and swap your VB into it , it will work same as your 47RE just have stronger guts
