Did the channel owner delete my comment, or did YouTube? : r . . . - Reddit It's also not deleted outright, but hidden from public view; I can see it while logged in and sorting by newest first, as well as in my comment history Is YouTube flagging my comments as spam, or is the channel owner removing them? The YouTube comment section has become absolutely useless It's just insane, the first hundred comments on any video that has a certain amount of views are "Thank you" messages, praising the content creator like he she is some kind of god Typically stuff like "I can't believe you offer this for free" or "Finally someone who explains this properly"

The problem is that now everything from video recommendations to channel descriptions to comments to comment replies are all crammed into that small vertical area on the right, when the larger horizontal area below the video is still perfectly fine to use
